Your right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), you have a period of 14 days to withdraw from your purchase, without having to give any reason and without penalty. Only the return costs are borne by you.

Withdrawal period

The 14-day period runs from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the product.

If your order comprises several products delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last product.

The day of receipt is not counted. If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.

You may also withdraw as soon as the contract has been concluded, even before receiving the product.

How to exercise your right

You simply need to inform us of your decision before the period expires. You can choose between:

• the online withdrawal function, via the link Withdraw from the contract here: this is the simplest and fastest method;
• the model withdrawal form reproduced below, completed and sent by email to contact@globtrottretails.fr or by post to the address shown on the form;
• any other unequivocal statement setting out your decision to withdraw, sent by email or by post.

Please remember to state your order number to help us process your request. If you write to us by email or by post, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without delay.

Returning the products

You must send back the products without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw. Unless otherwise stated in the acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal, the return address is as follows:

The direct costs of returning the products are borne by you. We recommend using a tracked service and packaging that properly protects the products, ideally their original packaging.

Refund

We will refund all sums paid, including the initial delivery charges, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

If you chose a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery method we offer, the corresponding additional cost will not be refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or until you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is the earlier.

The refund is made using the same payment method as that used for the order, unless you expressly agree to another method. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

Condition of returned products

You may handle the product as you would in a shop, in order to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. However, you may be held liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than this.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised, in particular, for:

• goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection (for example: toothbrushes, brush heads and other oral care products, cosmetic or hygiene products whose sealed packaging has been opened);
• audio or video recordings and computer software, where they have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery;
• goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• goods which, after delivery and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items;
• goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

Where relevant, the product page indicates these restrictions. A sealed, unopened product remains covered by the right of withdrawal.

Defective, damaged or non-conforming product

The right of withdrawal is distinct from the legal guarantees. If the product you receive is defective, damaged or does not match your order, contact us: you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, and, in that case, the return costs are borne by us.
